Internal Medicine

Caring for the Whole Patient for Life

As an Internal Medicine Physician, we are specially trained to solve puzzeling diagnostic problems no matter how common or rare.  At our practice we can handle simple medical problems to severe chronic illnesses and situations where several different illnesses may strike at the same time. As Primary Care Physicians we also have a strong understanding of wellness disease prevention and the promotion of health, substance abuse, mental health, as well as effective treatment of common problems of the body such as; eyes, ears, skin, nervous, respiratory, cardiovascular, endocrine and gastro-intestinal system.  We are different than "family physicians", "general practitioners", or "family doctors" as they spend extensive time in training with surgery, obstetrics and pediatrics as well as adults.  In Internal Medicine, at least three of the seven or more years of medical school and postgraduate training are dedicated to learning how to prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases that affect adults. .

Our practice takes care of patients in the office, we direct care through the hospitalists in the hospital setting, and also follow our patients in select Nursing Homes, Rehab facilities and hospice, we also occasionally make house calls.
